My Problem with reading books

I seem to have a massive problem with reading books, I start to read a book and enjoy it but no matter how hard I try I can finish it. I have only ever finished one chapter book in my life.

Elise is always trying to get me to read a book or two, but even if I start reading it I can never finish the book, sometimes I never even reach the half way mark. 

I don't know whether it's because I have other interests, get sick of the book, or something else completely.

If you remember I did a post on the Seven Little Australians and the Phantom Toll Booth, well I did the post while I was reading the books but I didn't finish either one of them.

Hopefully one day I will be able to finish another Book. :)

The Phantom Tollbooth

Lately I have been reading "The Phantom Tollbooth" by Norton Juster. It is about a boy called Milo who finds everything boring and a waste of time, he finds a parcel in his room which he open and it becomes a tollbooth and a car, he drives through the tollbooth with his car and.....I won't tell you any more if you want to read it.

I would give the book a 4/5 stars. I recommend you read it

Seven Little Australians

Lately I have been reading Ethel Turner's Seven little Australians. I was quite suprised by how much I liked it. But I just can't like the fact on how cruel their father Captain Woolcot is to his children and that Judy dies (sigh). I have not quite finished the book, but I only have a few chapters to go.

Now that I'm reading the book I am desperate to get the "Seven little Australians TV series" but I just can't seem to find anywhere that sells it or has it to rent. I would also like to read the sequels so I will have to borrow them from someone.

My big sister Elise runs a book club and they were reading the book and I ask Elise if I could read the book, she said that I could and I have not given it back since.
